A basketball strategy game

SOLO BALONCESTO is a board game for two players that faithfully recreates a real basketball match. Each player acts as the coach of one of the teams playing. Point guards, shooting guards, small forwards, power forwards and centers are at your disposal. There are two defensive strategies: zone defense and man-to-man defense. You can rely on your outside shooting or play with your tallest man near the basket.

Passes, rebounds, fouls, two-point shots, layups, three-pointers, slam dunks, freethrows, blocks, steals... any action of a basketball game is possible in SOLO BALONCESTO!

Unlike a computer game where you can only handle the player with the ball possession, in SOLO BALONCESTO you will have full control of the whole team, which will allow you to perform any individual action with any player on the court; a joint action between two players like a "pick and roll", a team tactic like playing in the zone or a man-to-man defense, faithfully recreating what happens in a basketball game.

What makes our game different?

SOLO BALONCESTO is the first Spanish basketball board game. It has an innovative system in the world of strategy sports boardgames that makes the actions of both teams look really simultaneous. Thanks to its mechanic, mixes a great realism in the actions with high simplicity. Players move one by one alternating between attacker and defender, not the entire team at once. This makes the duration of a turn variable, so you play four quarters like in a real game and not a predetermined number of turns in each quarter.

Each coach will move all his players and decide the actions depending on the strategy required in every moment. No match will be the same as any other and every move or play will always be different.
